International Wh0res’ Day 2025 – 50th Anniversary of the Saint-Nizier Occupation

Keep up with our plans to celebrate a very special International Sex Wh0res’ Day on June 2nd, commemorating 50 years since sex workers in Lyon occupied Saint-Nizier Church!

As an homage to the hundred prostitutes who protested their working conditions through this radical act, we’ll have actions and events spanning the beginning of June to highlight our own struggles today:

“The Problem is the Law”, a decriminalization strategy and community event, from 10:30am to 4pm with an evening presentation. (sex workers only, reach out to SWARM for location!)

June 5th – Write to your MP Scotland, OnlyFans picket at SXSW London at 10am!

June 6th – Bimbo School followed by a Puttanesca dinner (sex workers only, reach out to SWARM for location!)

June 8th – Write your MP Wales, featuring advice from Safety 1st Wales.

June 9th – TBA

June 10th – Write your MP Northern Ireland.

June 11th – Day of solidarity with international sex worker led movements.
