One of the most effective ways to help us at SWARM is to donate.

Your donations keep SWARM running and will be used to support:

  • Mutual-aid projects for sex workers by sex workers;

  • The SWARM Hardship Fund for sex workers in need;

  • Sex worker only spaces, gatherings and events;

  • Public education workshops and resources about sex worker lives and the struggle for sex workers’ rights;

  • Our fight for the full decriminalisation of sex work.

If you are able, please set up a recurring donation to SWARM. Even a little goes a long way and you donations mean the world to us.

About the SWARM Hardship Fund

During the current COVID-19 outbreak in the UK, many sex workers have seen a dramatic decrease in work. Like other precariously employed workers, sex workers do not have a monthly salary we can rely on. We don’t get sick pay. Many of us exist without savings of any kind. The most marginalised are the most at risk. Our community is facing a crisis. From March - May 2020 all donations to SWARM were directed into our Hardship Fund. From May - June 2020 donations went first towards covering SWARM’s core costs with everything else put towards to the Hardship Fund and given directly into the hands of sex workers. From July 2020 onwards all donations will go towards covering SWARM’s core costs, running mutual aid & community support projects, and funding resources for sex workers facing hardship and difficulty. While we will still be giving out a limited number of direct hardship payments every month, as a collective we have shifted our focus to more sustainable community building and support projects. We appreciate your continued and ongoing support of our work.

We are asking for donations from allies, from organisations, and from other sex workers who feel in a position to help. We know times are tough for everyone right now, and we welcome donations of all size. Here are some suggested amounts:

Those with a little to spare: £5

Those who earn less than £30k a year: £10-20

Those who earn £30-80k a year : £20-100

Those who earn more than £80k a year: we ask that you consider making a substantial donation of £200+ and above.
